AWS Tackles Cloud Migration Bottlenecks with Agentic AI Framework
Large-scale cloud migrations can be time-consuming and prone to bottlenecks. Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services has developed a multi-agent framework using agentic AI on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore that reduces infrastructure as code (IaC) development time from weeks to minutes.
The framework, which includes four agents: Intake, IaC, Migration Intelligence and Governance, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), addresses three key bottlenecks in the migration process: manual intake overhead, redundant infrastructure development, and reactive post-migration operations.
By automating tasks such as discovery, IaC generation, and portfolio reporting, the framework enables organizations to complete migrations more quickly and efficiently. The AWS managed services complementing this framework include AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) and AWS Transform for application-specific modernization.
