Azerbaijan and Cisco Explore Digital Cooperation Opportunities
Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Adele Trombetta, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Customer Experience for Cisco Europe, Middle East, and Africa. The meeting focused on Azerbaijan's priorities regarding digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
The sides explored opportunities for implementing joint research and innovation projects, establishing a regional center, including a Cisco Academy in Azerbaijan, and training specialists in digital skills.
Other areas of cooperation discussed included modernizing telecommunications infrastructure, developing data centers, and building the 'Government Cloud', as well as cybersecurity and innovation. This marks an important step forward for Azerbaijan's digital development strategy.
