Azerbaijan Eyes Regional Tech Hub with Cisco Partnership

Azerbaijan and Cisco Systems have been discussing potential cooperation in various areas of digital transformation, including artificial intelligence, telecommunications infrastructure modernization, data center development, 'Government Cloud' implementation, cybersecurity, and innovation.

According to Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, the meeting between him and Vice President Adele Trombetta from Cisco discussed opportunities for joint research projects, establishing a regional center, including a Cisco academy, as well as training specialists with digital skills.
