AzInTelecom Gains Global Cybersecurity Recognition

Azerbaijan-based company AzInTelecom has gained global recognition for its cybersecurity services by joining the international cybersecurity organization FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams).

This membership status has granted 'AzInTelecom' the title of sectoral Computer Incident Response Center for Azerbaijan's transport sector, also known as the 'Transport CERT' team.

The company was assessed using the 'SIM3' model and its compliance with international standards was confirmed through an on-site assessment. This enables 'AzInTelecom' to collaborate with global partners in neutralizing cyberattacks originating from abroad and exchanging cyber threat intelligence via the MISP platform.

'AzInTelecom' now joins top companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, and CrowdStrike on the FIRST platform, contributing to the strengthening of cyber resilience in the transport sector and developing institutional capabilities.
