Baker Joins IBM Board
IBM has appointed Frank Baker to its board of directors, effective immediately. Baker is co-founder and managing partner of Siris Capital Group, a private equity firm that has deployed over $9 billion in technology, telecommunications, and data-focused companies since its inception.
Baker oversees the firm's portfolio and leads its investment strategy at Siris. Before joining Siris, he worked as a managing director at Ripplewood Holdings and held positions in mergers and acquisitions at Goldman Sachs.
IBM Chairman Arvind Krishna said that the company looks forward to Baker's perspective as IBM advances its vision and drives enterprise transformation through technology.
