Baker Joins IBM Board Amid Tech Transformation Push
IBM has appointed Frank Baker to its board of directors, effective immediately. The 53-year-old co-founder and managing partner of Siris Capital Group brings over two decades of experience in technology investment and deal-making to the table.
Baker's background is impressive: before joining Siris, he worked at Goldman Sachs and Ripplewood Holdings. He has also held various trustee positions, including at the University of Chicago and Deerfield Academy.
IBM's Chairman, President, and CEO Arvind Krishna welcomed Baker to the board, stating that his perspective will be invaluable as IBM continues to advance its vision for enterprise transformation through technology.
