Bangladesh Seals Deal for Additional Boeing Aircraft with US Backing

US Ambassador in Dhaka Brent T Christensen welcomed Bangladesh's decision to purchase 11 additional Boeing aircraft.

The US ambassador congratulated Biman Bangladesh and Boeing, saying 'Congratulations to Boeing and Biman on the agreement to purchase 11 more of the world's best commercial planes.'

The procurement deal will bring Biman's planned Boeing acquisitions to 25, with the models, price, financing terms, and delivery schedule for the additional aircraft yet to be publicly disclosed.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is set to witness the signing ceremony in New York during his visit to join the UN General Assembly session.
