Bangladesh Signs Agreement with Boeing to Purchase 11 New Aircraft

Prime Minister's Adviser Mahdi Amin announced that Bangladesh has signed an agreement with Boeing to purchase 11 new aircraft. The move aims to expand the country's aviation sector and open new international routes, according to Amin.

The signing ceremony was attended by high-level representatives from the US government, including US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau. Biman Bangladesh Airlines signed the agreement with Boeing.

Amin mentioned that discussions with Airbus may also take place in the future depending on Bangladesh's requirements. The country has a long-standing commercial relationship with Boeing, he added.
