Bangladesh Signs Deal with Boeing for 11 New Aircraft

The government of Bangladesh has signed an agreement with Boeing to purchase 11 new aircraft as part of its efforts to expand the country's aviation sector and open new international routes.

Prime Minister's Adviser Mahdi Amin announced the deal at a press conference in New York, where he was representing Prime Minister Tarique Rahman during his four-day visit to the UN.

The agreement with Boeing is significant for Bangladesh, which has a long-standing commercial relationship with the US-based company. According to Amin, discussions may also take place with Airbus in the future, depending on the country's requirements.
