The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles has finally opened its doors to the public on September 22, marking a milestone in the world of art and finance. The privately funded project cost a staggering $1 billion, with Mellody Hobson, co-chair of the museum's board, and her husband cutting the ribbon.

Hobson, who also serves as co-CEO of Ariel Investments and is a member of JPMorgan Chase's risk committee, has found herself straddling two distinct worlds. The bank she helps oversee has been at the forefront of blockchain adoption, with its Kinexys unit processing over $3 trillion since inception.

JPMorgan's foray into digital assets has been nothing short of remarkable, with the bank's blockchain unit averaging a staggering $5 billion in daily volume. This year alone, JPMorgan launched its JPM Coin deposit token on Base, the Ethereum layer-2 network built by Coinbase.
