Beacon Sells 4,127 Shares of Alphabet, Other Investors Boost Holdings
Beacon Investment Advisory Services Inc., a financial services firm, has made adjustments to its holdings in Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL), the parent company of Google. According to its latest SEC filing, Beacon sold 4,127 shares of GOOG stock during the second quarter, decreasing its position by 2.9%.
The firm now owns 140,642 shares of Alphabet's stock, worth approximately $50 million at the end of the most recent reporting period. Alphabet comprises about 1.9% of Beacon Investment Advisory Services Inc.'s holdings, making it their 14th largest holding.
Beacon is not alone in its adjustments to Alphabet holdings; other institutional investors have also made changes to their positions in GOOGL recently. Vanguard Group Inc., for example, increased its stake in Alphabet by 2.4% during the fourth quarter, buying an additional 12.5 million shares.
