Beckham Banks £38m from World Cup Ads as Business Empire Soars
Sir David Beckham has scored a huge payday from his string of brand deals at the World Cup, earning a massive £38million. The England great, now 51, plugged US brands including McDonald's, Bank of America, and Adidas in various advertisements.
Beckham appeared in an ad for Lay's crisps alongside Lionel Messi and Thierry Henry, as well as a celeb-packed advert for Lays with Messi, Henry, and others. He also partnered with American DIY company Home Depot and beer firm Stella Artois.
Sources close to Becks say he has signed multi-year deals with several of the companies, bolstering his £1billion business empire. His work fuelled a record year for DRJB Holdings, the firm which manages his partnerships.
