Bedford Park Home Depot Celebrates Hometown Heroes with Appreciation Day
The Home Depot in Bedford Park is hosting an Appreciation Day on October 3 to honor local Hometown Heroes from the Police and Fire Departments. The event will take place at the store located at 7200 S. Cicero Avenue from 10 AM until 2 PM.
Refreshments and barbecue foods will be served, along with giveaways and raffle prizes. A special 'Kids Workshop' will also be held from 9 AM to Noon, with 90 kids already registered for the event.
Vendors will showcase their products, doing product demos at the store. Bedford Park Firefighters and Police officers will receive an exclusive offer of 20 percent off their purchases up to $200 off.
A fire truck will be on site, with firefighters passing out information to increase awareness for Fire Prevention Week, which is held from October 4 through October 10.
