Bell Canada, Cisco Team Up on Sovereign AI Infrastructure
Bell Canada and Cisco have joined forces to develop a sovereign artificial intelligence infrastructure for Canadian organizations. The partnership aims to combine Bell's data centers, networks, and operational capabilities with Cisco's AI infrastructure technologies.
The planned offering will support AI training and inference workloads for government agencies, regulated industries, and other organizations seeking greater control over sensitive systems and data.
Bell Canada and Cisco will evaluate Cisco's AI PODs and Sovereign Critical Infrastructure technologies alongside Bell's Canadian data center capacity. They will also explore flexible consumption models that allow customers to access or reserve AI infrastructure.
