Bell Teams Up with Cisco on Sovereign AI Infrastructure for Canadian Businesses
Bell Canada has partnered with Cisco to develop sovereign AI and digital infrastructure solutions for Canadian organizations. The collaboration will combine Bell's AI Fabric end-to-end AI solutions and service suite with Cisco's networking, security, and infrastructure technologies.
Cisco's solutions will be deployed through a sovereign deployment model managed by Bell within Canada. This venture aims to give local organizations more confidence in where critical workloads are run and how they are secured.
Bell said the partnership will help scale AI adoption through flexible consumption models, with full Canadian sovereignty over infrastructure and operations.
The two firms will assess how Cisco's AI point of delivery (POD) infrastructures can work in tandem with local infrastructure, connectivity, and operations services. This includes integration of Cisco's Sovereign Critical Infrastructure service, a localized Canadian version of which was released last August.
