Beloved Educator Robin Phillips Leaves Lasting Legacy
Robin Marie Phillips passed away on September 4th at the age of 56. She was surrounded by her family when she entered Heaven early that morning. Born on May 15, 1970 in Zanesville, Ohio to Ponney and Marilyn Cisco, Robin dedicated 34 years of her life to education.
Serving as a teacher for nearly three decades, Robin's career spanned multiple districts including Bloom-Vernon Local School District and Oak Hill Union Local School District. She also worked with the State Support Team and Gallia-Vinton Educational Service Center. Throughout her tenure, she poured her heart into her students, colleagues, and communities.
Raised in a family of faith, Robin's love for Jesus guided her life's work. She devoted herself to ministry through Trinity Wesleyan Church, World Outreach Ministries, and Elevate Ministries. Her impact extended far beyond the classroom, influencing generations of students and colleagues.
A celebration of Robin's life will be held at Elevate Ministries on Tuesday, September 8th, with arrangements made by Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home.
