Benioff and Huang Slam SaaSpocalypse as Salesforce Unveils AI-Driven Interface
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff has dismissed reports of an impending 'SaaSpocalypse', where AI technology would supposedly lead to a catastrophic collapse of traditional software. Speaking at Dreamforce 2026, Benioff called the talk of such an event 'crazy nonsense'.
Instead, he predicted that the market trends would bring in a new age of software, one where AI plays a key role. According to Benioff, this new era will be characterized by a new kind of interface that enables agents to reason and take action across all data, workflows, and logic inside Salesforce.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang agreed with Benioff's assessment, stating that the end of software is 'nonsense'. He emphasized that AI technology will actually enhance traditional software, making it more efficient and effective.
