Benioff Touts AI for All at Dreamforce: Salesforce CEO Emphasizes Social Responsibility
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff emphasized the importance of using AI for good during an exclusive interview at Dreamforce, which returned to San Francisco after a pandemic-induced hiatus.
The annual convention, which attracts over 50,000 attendees, is not only one of the city's largest events but also a showcase for its founder's commitment to social responsibility and innovation. Benioff, a fourth-generation San Franciscan, discussed his vision for AI as a tool that should be accessible to everyone.
'AI becomes something that everybody can use,' he said. 'It's not just held for one group of people or one group of companies.'
Beyond the tech conference, Benioff highlighted Salesforce's ongoing efforts to give back to the community. The company is donating $27 million to local public schools this year.
