Benioff Urges Widespread Access to AI, Donates Millions to Local Schools
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff spoke exclusively to ABC7 Eyewitness News ahead of the Dreamforce convention in San Francisco. The largest annual convention in the city, Dreamforce attracts over 50,000 attendees.
Benioff emphasized that technology is neutral and its impact depends on how it's used. He believes AI should be accessible to everyone and highlighted the importance of security in AI development.
Beyond discussing AI, Benioff also mentioned Salesforce's commitment to education. The company is donating $27 million to local public schools this year, with $18 million going towards San Francisco Unified and Oakland Unified school districts.
