Berkshire Hathaway Boosts Google Stake by 83% in Second Quarter
Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has made a significant move in its investment portfolio by increasing its stake in Alphabet, the parent company of Google, by an impressive 83% in the second quarter.
This growth in the Alphabet investment has propelled it to become Berkshire's third-largest stock holding, with nearly 106 million shares valued at around $37.8 billion as of June 30.
The Alphabet investment includes a notable $10 billion stake announced in June to support Alphabet's AI infrastructure expansion.
