Berkshire Hathaway's Top Holdings Generate $2.4 Billion in Annual Dividends
The Berkshire Hathaway investment portfolio, led by Greg Abel since 2025, still maintains many of the top positions established during Warren Buffett's tenure as CEO. These holdings include Apple Inc (AAPL), American Express (AXP), Coca-Cola Inc (KO), Alphabet Inc (GOOGL), and Bank of America Corporation (BAC).
These five stocks make up around 69% of the portfolio and each one pays a dividend on the millions of shares Berkshire Hathaway owns. According to recent filings, these top holdings bring in $589 million per quarter in dividend payments for the conglomerate. Annually, this total is approximately $2.4 billion.
The Oracle of Omaha's preference for value stocks has been passed down to Abel, who continues to focus on dividend-paying companies. The current quarterly dividends and annual yields for the five stocks are: AAPL ($0.27, 0.34%), AXP ($0.95, 1.15%), KO ($0.53, 2.39%), GOOGL ($0.22, 0.26%), and BAC ($0.32, 2.07%).
