BeWhere Expands Asset Tracking with New BLE Beacons and Network Partnerships
BeWhere Holdings (BEWFF) has expanded its asset-tracking solutions by integrating with Cisco Spaces and Hubble Network while introducing new Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons. The new beacons are designed to monitor temperature, door activity, and proximity, and they are compatible with BeWhere gateways and Cisco Spaces deployments. A Hubble-compatible temperature-tag variant also provides access to Hubble's extensive finding network.
The company's APIs enable customers to consolidate location and sensor data from various environments, indoor, yard, and transportation, into their existing platforms and BeWhere Apps. BeWhere already has customers utilizing Cisco Spaces, Hubble Network, BeWhere Connect, and its cellular tracker and gateway solutions.
The new BLE beacons include a temperature tag for cold-chain and healthcare applications, a door sensor for monitoring open/close events, and a range sensor for proximity detection. These beacons are priced significantly lower than traditional asset trackers, making them more accessible for a broader range of applications.
BeWhere's solutions are particularly beneficial in manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, logistics, and cold-chain industries. The company aims to extend asset visibility across indoor and outdoor operations, enhancing efficiency and security for its customers.
