Billy Horschel APGA Tour Invitational Returns with Record-Pursuing Prize
The Billy Horschel APGA Tour Invitational presented by Cisco returns to THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass from May 4-6, with an 18-player field competing for a $125,000 total prize purse. This is the largest purse in APGA Tour history, and the winner will also receive an exemption into the Korn Ferry Tour's BMW Charity Pro-Am.
The event aims to promote diversity and provide business development opportunities for players, as well as connecting them with leaders in the business community. Cisco is the presenting sponsor of the tournament, and has been instrumental in supporting the APGA Tour's mission to bring greater diversity to the game of golf.
Billy Horschel, a six-time PGA TOUR winner and 2021 BMW PGA Championship winner, said that his goal was not only to provide players with an opportunity to compete on a world-class course, but also to connect them with business leaders. He expressed his gratitude for the support of companies like Cisco, who share his passion in making golf more inclusive.
