Biman Bangladesh Airlines Buys 11 Boeing Aircraft to Expand International Routes

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has taken a significant step to expand its aviation sector by signing an agreement with Boeing to purchase 11 new aircraft.

The deal was announced at a press conference in New York, where Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's Adviser Mahdi Amin revealed that the agreement was signed in the presence of senior US officials, including Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.

Amin stated that the purchase is based on Bangladesh's expanding aviation needs and plans to introduce new routes. He also mentioned that Bangladesh has a longstanding commercial relationship with Boeing and may discuss further cooperation with Airbus in the future.
