Biman Boosts Fleet with New Boeing Aircraft Order

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has signed a deal to acquire 11 Boeing aircraft as part of its plan to renew and expand its fleet. The order includes five 787-10 Dreamliners and six 737-8 jets, building on an earlier purchase of 14 Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 737 MAX aircraft this year.

The latest agreement follows Biman's commitment to strengthening Bangladesh's international connectivity and expanding its network. 'As the national flag carrier, we remain committed to developing Biman's network and capabilities in a manner that responds to the connectivity needs of the people of Bangladesh, our expatriate community, business and tourism,' said Rumee A Hossain, Chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

The order is part of Biman's broader plan to develop its fleet and expand its services. By acquiring these new aircraft, the airline aims to improve connectivity and meet growing demand for air travel in Bangladesh.
