Bangladesh's national flag carrier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, has signed a deal with Boeing to purchase 11 more aircraft. This is part of the airline's plan to expand its fleet and increase capacity.

The agreement was announced on September 24, 2026, without revealing any financial details about the purchase price or the expected delivery date for the new planes.

With this addition, Biman Bangladesh Airlines' fleet will consist of Boeing aircraft only. The airline currently operates a mix of Boeing and Airbus planes.
