Binance Unveils Regulated Tokenized Security Linking Users to NVIDIA Exposure
NVIDIA (bStocks Tokenized Stock), also known as nvdab, is a BEP-20 tokenized-security certificate on BNB Smart Chain that gives eligible non-U.S. users blockchain-based economic exposure to NVIDIA Corporation shares without making them direct NVIDIA shareholders.
The product's narrow problem is settlement and custody fragmentation between crypto-native markets and traditional equities: it allows a user to hold a transferable on-chain instrument linked to NVDA exposure, trade it outside U.S. market hours, and deploy it in selected DeFi venues while the issuer maintains corresponding underlying securities through custody arrangements.
As of mid-September 2026, public aggregators placed nvdab in the small-cap crypto-asset range rather than among systemically large digital assets, with CoinGecko listing it around the mid-hundreds by market-cap rank and DefiLlama showing a modest amount of nvdab actually deployed in DeFi relative to its on-chain AUM.
nvdab was launched in 2026 as part of Binance's renewed push into regulated tokenized securities, after earlier generations of exchange-listed stock tokens had drawn regulatory scrutiny in multiple jurisdictions. The issuer is BTech Holdings Limited, described by Binance and DefiLlama as a Binance-affiliated special-purpose vehicle registered in the Abu Dhabi Global Market.
The technical architecture is therefore a custodial-tokenization stack layered on a high-throughput EVM chain. At the token level, bStocks rely on issuer minting and redemption processes, proof-of-collateral disclosures, eligibility controls, and corporate-action mechanics; at the chain level, BSC provides block production, finality, and smart-contract interoperability.
nvdab has no conventional crypto emission schedule, mining subsidy, staking inflation, fixed halving cycle, or DAO-controlled treasury release. Its supply is designed to expand or contract with eligible issuance, conversion, redemption, and custody reconciliation against the underlying NVIDIA-linked exposure rather than according to a pre-set tokenomics curve.
