Bird.com Secures $450 Million Debt Financing Led by JPMorgan
Bird.com, a messaging firm, has secured $450 million in debt financing led by JPMorgan Chase & Co. The deal includes a $400 million term loan and a $50 million revolving credit facility with other backers like Capital One Financial Corp. and Citigroup Inc.
The funds will be used to pay a dividend to existing shareholders and current and former employees, according to Chief Executive Officer Robert Vis. This move aims to return cash to investors and employees as the company seeks to reward its stakeholders.
