Birmingham Consultant and Systems Integration Specialist Mark Cubine Passes Away at 68

Mark Hays Cubine, a 68-year-old resident of Vincent, Alabama, passed away on September 22, 2026. A celebration of life was held in his honor at the Whosoever Will Men's Bible Class on September 26. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Mark grew up in Paris and attended Paris High School, where he graduated with honors and lettered on the KY State Football Championship Team of 1973.

He was a multifaceted individual who pursued various careers throughout his life. After high school, Mark worked as an emergency medical technician for Lusk Ambulance Service in Paris and later Angel of Mercy Ambulance Service in Paducah. He then attended Vanderbilt University, where he graduated with degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Mark's professional career spanned over 43 years, during which he worked for several prominent companies including Honeywell, Hewlett-Packard, and Raytheon. In 2000, he co-founded EnteGreat, a consulting and systems integration firm based in Birmingham. He later joined McLeod Software, where he served as vice president of marketing and led the Enterprise Systems Sales Team.

Mark's family requests donations be made to the Whosoever Will Men's Bible Foundation in his memory. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing the service.
