Blue Cloud Softech Kicks Off ₹147 Crore IBM AI Project
Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited has started work on a major AI infrastructure project for IBM Cloud, worth approximately ₹147 crore. The company's US subsidiary, Global Impx Inc., is executing the project under a fixed-fee agreement with IBM Cloud Inc. The deal covers AI infrastructure design, deployment, and support services in New Jersey, USA.
The project, which began on September 22, 2026, is structured across 13 phases, with the first two phases focused on requirement gathering and infrastructure assessment. The broader implementation includes design, build, secure, and operate stages, followed by validation and handover. Key components include GPU compute, high-performance storage, AI platforms, and security systems.
The fixed-fee engagement is valued at US$15.5 million, equivalent to about 14.7% of Blue Cloud Softech's consolidated revenue for FY 2025-26. Payments are linked to five project milestones, with invoices payable within 90 days of receipt. As of October 7, 2026, Blue Cloud Softech's share price rose by 5.70% to ₹21.15, following the announcement of the IBM Cloud project.
Global Impx, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Blue Cloud Softech, is leading the delivery of the project. The company emphasized that the order is not a related-party transaction and that neither the promoter group nor promoter companies have an interest in IBM Cloud. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
