BNP Paribas Boosts Stake in JPMorgan Chase & Co.

BNP Paribas significantly increased its stake in JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) during the second quarter, purchasing an additional 16,474 shares to bring its total holdings to 290,350.

The French multinational investment bank now owns approximately 2.6% of JPMorgan's stock, making it the bank's 11th largest holding, worth around $94.87 million as of its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

This move by BNP Paribas is part of a larger trend in which several institutional investors have increased their stakes in JPMorgan Chase & Co., including Tandem Capital Management Corp ADV and Prosperitas Financial LLC, both of whom lifted their holdings during the second quarter.
