BNP Paribas Teams with Google Cloud on Agentic AI Expansion

BNP Paribas has announced a five-year partnership with Google Cloud to expand its access to AI-optimized infrastructure and advanced AI capabilities, including Gemini Enterprise and Gemini models.

The initial use cases for this partnership include integrating Gemini models into LLM@CIB, the bank's internal generative AI assistant used by over 65,000 employees, as well as deploying agentic AI use cases within Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB).

BNP Paribas' Group Chief Information Officer, Marc Camus, stated that the partnership will strengthen its multi-cloud approach while maintaining a consistent framework for security and control.
