BNP Paribas Teams with Google Cloud on Agentic AI Rollout
BNP Paribas and Google Cloud have formed a five-year partnership to expand BNP Paribas' access to Google Cloud's infrastructure and advanced AI capabilities. The partnership will enable BNP Paribas to deploy agentic AI across its platforms, streamlining operations, assessing risk, and serving clients more effectively.
The agreement marks a significant shift in how global financial institutions approach AI adoption. Through this partnership, BNP Paribas will leverage Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise to build purpose-built agents tailored to specific business needs.
BNP Paribas' Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) division will be the first to benefit from the new capabilities. The deployment of AI agents for targeted workflows will support teams, with applications across sales, trading, research, and structuring activities.
