Boca Raton Innovation Campus Transformed into Top Office Center
The former IBM site in Boca Raton has undergone significant transformation over the years. The complex, which was built in 1970 for IBM and is now known as the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC), has been redeveloped into a thriving office center.
CP Group, led by managing partner Angelo Bianco, managed the property since 2018 and invested over $100 million to improve the complex. The efforts paid off, attracting new tenants such as ModMen, Baptist Health South Florida, and Guidant.
The complex's history is still present today. A museum dedicated to the site's past was created by CP Group, showcasing its significance in the development of IBM's personal computer. The campus also hosts various events, including a weekend farmers market and holiday tree lighting ceremonies.
However, it was not until 2021 that BRiC truly hit its stride. That year, Related Ross acquired the complex for $320 million, further solidifying its position as a top office center in Boca Raton.
