Boeing 737 Max Jets Hit by Software Glitch
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating a software glitch in some Boeing 737 Max jets that could cause issues during aborted landings.
The FAA Administrator, Bryan Bedford, told CBS News on Monday that certification of the Max 10 will be delayed while they review the issue and determine interim remedies.
The glitch could prompt an automated flight guidance system to disengage during a go-around, which is a common procedure in aviation where pilots intentionally abort a landing.
