The families of victims who died in the Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max crash will receive an additional $2.73 million each, bringing their total payout to $540 million per family.

This follows a Non-Prosecution Agreement (NPA) between Boeing and the US Department of Justice (DoJ), which required Boeing to provide another $444.5 million to a crash-victims beneficiaries' fund.

The NPA, announced in May 2025, also includes additional financial commitments and safety measures from Boeing, including a $455 million investment in compliance, safety, and quality programs.
