Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines Seal Deal for 10 Freighters

Ethiopian Airlines is set to sign an agreement with Boeing for the delivery of 10 freighter aircraft. The deal, which has been in the works since earlier this month, will include two current-generation 777F aircraft from Boeing. These planes are expected to bridge a gap until the delayed new 777-8F freighter model becomes available.

The agreement is part of Ethiopian Airlines' efforts to support the development of Africa's largest airport project, with phase one set to open in 2030. The airline is contributing to a $12.5-billion plan for the airport's construction.
