Boeing and Icelease have signed an agreement for the conversion of up to three 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF). The deal includes one confirmed aircraft with options for two more, as Icelease expands its cargo fleet. The first aircraft is set to be inducted in Q1 2027, with delivery expected in Q2 2027. The conversions will take place at ST Engineering's facilities in Singapore.

Sigtor Einarsson, Managing Partner of Icelease, called the agreement a significant milestone. He highlighted the long-standing partnership with Boeing, which spans over 20 years. The 767-300BCF will join Icelease's growing portfolio, which already includes seven Boeing 737-800BCF and other freighters leased to various customers.

Lindsey Douglas, vice president at Boeing, emphasized the importance of Icelease as a partner. She noted that the 767-300BCF is a proven performer in the cargo industry, with a range of 3,300 nautical miles and a 57-tonne payload. The agreement was formalized during a signing ceremony at the Cargo Facts Symposium on October 22, 2026.

Icelease, with 21 years of experience, has built a strong network in aircraft acquisitions, leasing, and finance. Its sister company, IAT Leasing, manages a portfolio of around 40 aircraft leased to airlines worldwide.
