Boeing Bolsters Liquidity with New Credit Agreement
A major US aerospace and defense manufacturer, Boeing (BA), has bolstered its short-term liquidity resources by entering into a new 364-day credit agreement.
The agreement was signed on August 24, 2026, with a syndicate of lenders, led by Citibank as administrative agent and JPMorgan Chase as syndication agent. This move aims to reinforce the company's access to committed financing, which is crucial for its balance sheet flexibility and ongoing funding requirements.
In addition to the new agreement, Boeing also executed Amendment No. 1 and extensions to two existing five-year credit agreements, originally dated May 15, 2024, and August 24, 2023. These transactions were formally reported in a filing signed on August 28, 2026, by Corporate Secretary John C. Demers.
