Boeing Closes in on Turkish Airlines Deal Amid Engine Maintenance Dispute

Boeing is nearing an agreement to finalize Turkish Airlines' purchase of up to 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, according to Reuters. The deal was threatened by a dispute over engine maintenance with CFM International.

The proposed purchase covers the 737-8 and larger 737-10 models, with options for another 50 planes included in the total.

The agreement could be signed as early as next week, but Boeing and CFM declined to comment on the matter.

Turkish Airlines had previously threatened to abandon the purchase and turn to Airbus due to the dispute.
