Boeing Employee Marks 75 Years with the Company

Charlie Tapper has become Boeing's longest-serving employee after marking 75 years with the company in June. The 96-year-old joined just a week after receiving his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University in 1951. At that time, Boeing was still working on the B-52 Stratofortress and hadn't yet developed the 707, which played a significant role in catapulting civil aviation into the Jet Age.

Tapper has expressed no intention of retiring anytime soon, as stated by CEO Kelly Ortberg. This remarkable milestone is a testament to Tapper's dedication and perseverance over nearly eight decades.
