Boeing and its engineers' union have reached a tentative contract agreement after months of negotiations. The four-year deal includes higher general wage increases than the initial offer, which was rejected by SPEEA members in August.

The new agreement offers a 10% wage raise on October 16, followed by 4% raises plus merit-based increases from 2027 through 2030. This is a significant improvement over the previous offer of 3% general wage increases.

According to Boeing's Ben Nimmergut, vice president and functional chief engineer for production engineering, the final contract offer addresses the top priorities identified by employees and SPEEA's bargaining teams, including an immediate wage increase and larger wage pools with guarantees.
