Boeing Engineers Ratify Contract, Removing Strike Risk
Boeing engineers and technical employees have ratified a new four-year contract, removing the threat of another strike. The agreement covers members of the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace, including 13,000 engineers and 4,000 technical workers.
The contract guarantees a 10% wage increase, annual raises of 4%, and a possible additional performance-based increase of 2%. This comes after Boeing improved its offer in September after workers rejected an earlier proposal.
Boeing's revenue improved in the second quarter of 2026, reaching $24.56 billion, up 8% from $22.72 billion in the same period last year. However, the company still reported a net loss of $428 million during this time.
The agreement removes a near-term labor disruption risk for Boeing while increasing compensation costs across the covered workforce.
