Dinesh Keskar, a former Indian American Boeing executive, has been honored by his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, with the prestigious Kautz Master Alumni Award. The award recognizes Keskar's lasting global impact on aviation, engineering, and industry collaboration.

Keskar came to the U.S. from India in 1975 with a dream of working in aerospace engineering, just after Neil Armstrong's historic moon landing. He was drawn to UC because of Armstrong's presence as an aerospace engineering professor.

After completing his master's degree in 1977 and PhD in 1979, Keskar went on to have a historic career at Boeing, retiring in 2019 as senior vice president. He spent nearly four decades at the company and facilitated billions of dollars in sales.

Keskar orchestrated Boeing's first billion-dollar deal with India in 1993 and later played a key role in securing the largest aviation deal in history worth $13.5 billion with Boeing in 2005. Throughout his career, he sold around 2500 airplanes valued between $300-$350 billion.
