Boeing Expands Landing Gear Exchange Program to 737 MAX Aircraft
Boeing has extended its Landing Gear Exchange Program to the 737 MAX family of aircraft. The program allows operators to exchange landing gear assemblies without having to purchase and store them, reducing downtime and spare-parts inventory needs.
The first 737 MAX swap was completed on September 14, 2026, with Boeing supplying overhauled and certified main and nose landing gear assemblies with installation kits.
Boeing is expanding global overhaul capacity and working with certified MRO partners to expand geographic availability. This will enable operators to reduce aircraft-on-ground time, lower spare-parts inventories, and improve maintenance predictability.
