Boeing Hits 2026 Delivery Milestone with 418 Aircraft Delivered
Boeing has reported its commercial-airplane delivery numbers for August 2026. The company delivered 51 aircraft during this period, taking year-to-date deliveries to 418. This marks Boeing's highest total through the first eight months of a year since 2018.
The August deliveries consisted of 41 Boeing 737 MAXs, one 737-800A, four 787 Dreamliners, three 767s, and two 777 Freighters. The 737 MAX was the primary delivery platform in August, with Southwest Airlines receiving nine aircraft and United Airlines eight.
Widebody handovers slowed during August, with only four 787s delivered compared to 10 in July and 13 in June. Boeing had delivered a total of 54 Dreamliners through the end of August.
