Boeing's July jet deliveries suffered a significant drop of 17% from June, with the company handing over 53 aircraft compared to its previous month's total of 64. This decline also trails behind European rival Airbus, which delivered 67 planes in July.

The 53 jets delivered by Boeing in July comprised 39 737 MAX jets and 10 787s, as well as one 777 freighter and three 767s. Through the first seven months of this year, Boeing has delivered a total of 367 aircraft.

Boeing also booked 30 new orders after adjusting for cancellations in July, which include a handful of orders announced during the Farnborough Airshow. The majority of these orders were for the 737 MAX and 787 jets.
