Financial analysts at Bernstein SocGen Group have reaffirmed their Outperform rating on Boeing (NYSE:BA) amidst ongoing labor negotiations.

The engineering and technical union SPEEA has authorized a strike if no agreement is reached by October 6, the contract's expiration date.

A strike could begin on October 7, affecting design work such as certification of the 737MAX-10 and 777X.

Boeing management has stated that money intended for one-time payments will now be used for a strike fund.

In other recent news, Boeing has received two contracts from the U.S. Department of Defense totaling approximately $173.8 million for military aircraft components and training systems.
