The US Department of Defense has awarded Boeing an IDIQ contract worth up to $131.23 billion for the F-15 program, which includes aircraft production, systems integration, performance upgrades, and sustainment.

The maximum ceiling figure represents the total value of the contract, not a guaranteed order amount, and work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, with completion expected by August 2037.

The contract also covers Foreign Military Sales programs for seven countries: South Korea, Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland.

Boeing shares rose after-hours following the announcement, closing down 1.75% in regular trading but up 0.41% in post-market hours.
