Boeing Lands $173.8M in US Defense Contracts for Aircraft Components and Training
Boeing has secured two major defense contracts worth a combined $173.8 million from the U.S. Department of Defense. The first contract, valued at $156.2 million, is for up to 31 P-8A Engine Build-Up kits, which will be used by both the Navy and Foreign Military Sales customers.
The work on this contract will take place in Boeing's Tukwila, Washington facility and is expected to be completed by August 2031. The P-8A Engine Build-Up kits are a critical component of the aircraft's performance, providing the necessary power for its missions.
In addition to the P-8A contract, Boeing has also been awarded a $17.6 million modification to an existing contract for the F-15 Japan Super Interceptor Eagle Passive/Active Warning Survivability System weapons system trainer.
